FROM THE PRESIDENT:

Dear Members, 

We celebrated Italy’s 65^th anniversary as a Republic - Italy National Day with a Dinner Dance on Saturday 4^th June, and Italian Poetry Day “Giornata della Poesia Italiana” on Sunday 19^th June.

In attendance at the Italy National Night Dinner Dance, were special guests:

Acting Consul for Italy Dr Antonio Colicchia and Ms Lisa Ferro, Padre Angelo Cagna, Councillor Susie Douglas and Dr Alex Douglas MP, Councillor Grant Pforr, Mr Lee Hennesy  (Director of Bruce Lynton Alfa Romeo Fiat), Comm. Carmelo Caruso OAM and Rina Caruso JP, Dina Ranieri (Director of Co.As.It) and Giovanna Santomauro (President of Dante Alighieri). 

We wish to thank the generous sponsors of the night: Attunga Park Country Retreat, Global Food and Wine, Café Marina, Aggugia Family, Italo Uno Restaurant, Saamarias Bakery, Enzo Morrisi Jewellery, and Coco Deli who donated the great prizes, which resulted in a very successful raffle. Anna-maria Marmotta was the happy winner of our major prize a donation by Bruce Lynton Alfa Romeo, a weekend cruising in a new Mito Alfa Romeo.

All enjoyed the evening, and the 2011 committee wish to thank those who supported the club by attending.
